Layout Scenarios command
As part of the Enterprise Move Management application, you can develop move scenarios with layout scenarios -- alternate configurations of the space on trial layers of an inventory drawing, copy of an inventory drawing, or drawing of proposed space you may acquire. CAD users work with layout scenarios to propose new layouts of space to accommodate a move. For example, the move coordinator or space planner may roughly sketch proposed changes on a mark-up of the current inventory, such as converting cubicles to open space or converting a conference room to an office.
The CAD user can then create multiple layout scenarios with proposals of how to implement this change. For information on the process, see Move Scenario Planning: CAD User .
To create, work on, and publish layout scenarios, the CAD user works with the Layouts tab on the Explorer pane.
To activate this pane, the CAD user can
- choose the Layout Scenarios command on the Synchronization ribbon
