Archibus and Serraview Integration

Story 1: Prepare Drawings
(Export Archibus Data to Serraview and Send Data Back to Archibus)

For Archibus drawings destined for Serraview, conversion is a manual process, similar to publishing a drawing.

You prepare drawings for Serraview in two situations:

• When you first get started with integrating Archibus and Serraview, you will need to convert all floor plan drawings.
• Subsequently, whenever you modify a floor plan drawing , you need to republish it as enterprise graphics. This automatically run the converter.

There are two ways to convert drawings:

• You can manually run the conversion process.
• When you publish a floor plan drawing as enterprise graphics in the Smart Client Extension for AutoCAD, a follow-on step automatically converts the files for use in Serraview.
