Real Property / US Federal Property Registry

Portfolio Manager

As the Portfolio Manager, you use the US Federal Property Registry application to store and manage data for each real property asset as a transaction , with each transaction tracking all data entries for the property. The Business Process Owner must approve a transaction before the proposed data is posted. Posting the data means that the record for the property is either created or updated using the approved data elements. For more information, see How Transaction Approval Works.

The Portfolio Manager can manage the real property inventory by:

  • Accessing specific properties using a variety of search criteria, such as real property unique identifier, real property use or type, reporting agency, or the time frame during which data for the property was last posted
  • Adding up to 33 data elements for properties
  • Viewing a summary of property information, or viewing property details
  • Viewing a list of transactions for a property that are pending approval
  • Viewing details for a transaction that is pending approval to review it before adding a new transaction
  • Adding new transactions to update data after the initial transaction has been posted
  • Generating the following reports that show details for all transactions (both transactions that are pending approval and those that have been posted):
  • Transactions by Requestor
  • Transactions by Property Asset Unique Identifier
