Archibus Currency Conversions Table

Use the Archibus Currency Conversions table to store conversion data by date, and the exchange rates for both the Payment Currencies and the Budget Currency.

Field Description
Conversion Date Stores the date of conversion.
Conversion Factor The conversion factor used for this date and exchange rate type.
Date Last Updated The Date this currency was most recently updated.
Data Transfer Status

When importing data into the Archibus Currency Conversions table, the program updates the value of this field with the final data transfer status for each record for the import. You can filter on this Data Transfer Status field to see the records that were newly added, updated, or missing in the transfer.

Exchange Rate Type

Indicates the type of exchange rate:

  • Payment is a dynamic conversion rate between currencies. Using external sources, this conversion rate is typically updated frequently - daily or weekly - as it is used to manage real-time cost transactions.
  • Budget is a static conversion rate between Payment Currencies and the Budget Currency that provides consistent data over a multi-year period. The Budget Exchange Rate is updated infrequently at a predetermined interval, such as at the start of each fiscal year or quarterly
Is Currency? Not in use.
Auto-Numbered ID Auto-incremented primary key value, such as PK1.
Source Units The currency you are converting from. The Source Units field is validated against the Currency Code field in the Archibus Currencies table.
Destination Units The currency you are converting to. The Destination Units is validated against the AbCommonResources-BudgetCurrency Parameter Value entered in the Application Parameters table for theAbCommonResources application.
Unit Symbol The currency symbol (Unicode format). This can be obtained from the ISO Web site page.
