Reservations Deployment Options: Overview
Archibus offers a plug-in and an extension that you can opt to use to deploy the Reservations application:
Archibus Plugin for Microsoft Outlook | You can make reservations in Web Central and also in Outlook |
Archibus Extension for Microsoft Exchange |
Additionally, you can deploy the Reservations application using Exchange integration. To do so, you configure the Archibus Extension for Microsoft Exchange. With Exchange integration, attendee availability is retrieved from the Exchange calendar, and the Exchange Server is in charge of all notifications that occur on creation, update, and cancellation of reservations, without the need to import any invitations manually If you have configured Exchange integration, you can choose to enable or disable a listener. If the listener is enabled, changes done in Exchange calendars are propagated to the Web Central reservations. See Configuring the Archibus Extension for Exchange (Reservations Application). |
