Manage Purchase Orders for Parts

As you review your inventory, you can generate purchase orders for parts. These parts are associated with vendors from the Manage Parts Inventory task. See Creating Purchase Orders for Parts.

Once you create purchase orders, you can manage them using the Manage Purchase Order tasks. Access this task from:

  • Maintenance / Corrective Maintenance / Inventory Manager / Manage Purchase Orders
  • Maintenance / Preventive Maintenance / Background Data – Maintenance / Manage Purchase Orders

From this task, you can:

  • Locate specific purchase orders using the Filter and then drilling down to see order and shipping details, or to see line item details.
  • Export purchase orders and line items to PDF or DOCX.
  • Edit purchase order information.
  • Approve or reject purchase orders.
  • Add new parts (line items) to the purchase order, or edit existing line items.
  • Mark parts as Received.
