Foundations Manager Overview
In order to provide self-service users with the ability to access basic facility information and make requests, facility managers work behind the scenes to develop and monitor the facility information.

Depending on operations at your site, one user may execute all of the Foundation Manager tasks, or the tasks might be divided by multiple users, such as a CAD manager, facility manager, and business process manager.

Foundations Home Page
A facility manager uses the Foundations home page to review metrics and statistics about the facility and services. When reviewing the Workplace Metrics panel, you can click on the panel to access information about how the data is calculated.

Background Data
Developing the underlying data about the facility may be outsourced to an Archibus business partner or developed in-house by the facility manager and CAD manager. If a site opts to outsource all or part of the data development process, the manager can maintain this data once initially developed.
