associated drawing
A drawing is associated with a view if it contains asset symbols that are connected to an asset table in the view. If a view contains multiple asset tables, the highest owner asset table determines the view's associated drawings. For example, a drawing that contains rooms and organizational groups is associated with several views, including the "Rooms", "Equipment by Rooms", and "Groups" views. Similarly, if its asset table contains data represented in several drawings, a view has several associated drawings. For example, if the Gross Areas table contains the gross area information for several floors (each represented in its own drawing), the "Gross Areas" view has several associated drawings. As you add and delete items from a drawing, you change the drawing's association with views. See also asset table .
