Breaking down a block or an asset symbol into its component parts. Exploding a block breaks the block into its component entities. Exploding an asset symbol removes the asset status from an asset symbol and returns it to a regular drawing entity. Exploding an asset symbol strips the asset symbol of its extended entity data, deletes the corresponding record, and removes the asset text.
