domain style licensing
domain style licensing
This option lets sites easily bundle all applications within a domain or within all domains together, facilitating the deployment of new functional applications. Sites can leverage their existing data, for instance, information used in the Space Inventory & Performance application, for new applications, such as Move Management, without having to stop to procure new licenses.
Used for large-scale site licenses. These deployments pay in proportion to the number of users they have and the type of users. Large-scale deployments can classify their users as:
- Self-service or casual enterprise users (Self-Service users)
- Managers such as work supervisors and craftspersons (Work Process users)
- CAD Specialists using AutoCAD and Revit (CAD and BIM Users)
- Department managers performing oversight (Analysis users)
- Managers who anchor each business function (Process Owners)
- IT managers who help with system deployment (System Administrators)
With domain-style licensing, each process and view within each application has a License Level that describes the level of user that can load that process. In turn, each user's role also has a license level that controls which type of views they can load.
