Archibus Drawings Table
Archibus Drawings Table
The Archibus Drawings table holds a list of all the project's drawings and their properties. Most often, you create this information by starting a new drawing in the Overlay, and working with the Drawing Properties dialog. However, it is occasionally convenient to edit this table directly.
You can access this table from the Smart Client at: System / Add-In Manager / Edit Drawing List
This table contains the following fields:
Field |
Purpose |
---|---|
Drawing Name |
This document field holds the name of the drawing file, such as HQ19. You can use the document management features of this field to store older versions or marked up copies of your drawings. |
Drawing Title |
Describes the title used for the drawing in Archibus reports and window headings. |
Units |
Specifies how to interpret lengths, widths, heights, and areas in the drawing. For Imperial Units, inches is the unit; for Metric Units, the Base Metric Units setting specifies whether to use millimeters, centimeters, or meters. |
Base Metric Units |
Defines whether a metric drawing was created with one CAD unit as one millimeter, centimeter, or meter. |
Space Hierarchy Values |
Provides the default values to use for the space hierarchy when data editing or data numbering items that include a space location. For example, if you provide HQ and 19 as these values, when you data edit or data number asset symbols, the commands' dialogs will automatically complete the Building Code and Floor Code fields with HQ and 19. When completing this field, separate the Building Code and Floor Code values with a semi-colon, such as "HQ;19". You can also specify this information in the Drawing Properties dialog box. |
Default Scale On Report |
Defines the scale factor used to map the drawing's actual units to the plotted or paper units used in the drawing's frame on an Archibus report. The Preserve Drawing Scale? report preference must be Yes for this parameter to take effect. You can also specify this information in the Drawing Properties dialog box. |
Default Height / Width On Report |
For Client/Server, defines the height/width of a drawing's frame on a report, which can be overridden on a per-view basis. Note : The Windows Client/Server product has been discontinued. Beginning with V.25.1, Windows Client/Server compatibility is not supported, although the features supporting Client/Server compatibility remain in Web Central and Smart Client. |
Title Position On Report |
For Client/Server, specifies the placement of a title on a report -- either above or below the drawing. |
