Compliance Program Coordinators Tracking Permits and Licenses

Objective

Permits and Licenses are one of the most common types of requirements in regulatory compliance. Because these requirements are so common, it is helpful for Compliance Program Coordinators to be able to focus on this type of requirement separately from the others.

Solution

The Compliance application includes a task that presents only requirements that have either the Permit or License Requirement Types for compliance programs, requirements, or events for which the logged-on user is entered as the Responsible Person.

Procedure

  1. When entering requirements into the application, the Compliance Program Manager indicates the Requirement Type as Permit or License for requirements having these types. See Adding Requirements.
  2. Compliance Program Coordinators can access the Manage My Permits and Licenses task to review the permit and license renewals for which they are entered as the Responsible Person. They can update requirement information, or event information, such as Event Status, Responsible Person, and Discussion. This might occur in response to an email notification that the renewal date for a permit or license is upcoming. See Managing My Permits and Licenses .
