Review the Cost Allocation Chart
The Cost Forecast Wizard's Cost Allocation tab presents a pie chart that illustrates the distribution of building costs by division. The chart is based on the building that you selected in the Select Building tab, and the Portfolio Scenario and Review Date that you set in the Allocate Costs tab. If you navigate to this tab from the Department Analysis tab, the date you selected on the Department Analysis tab is used to show the data. The title of the chart shows these selections.
You can use the <Year, Year>, <Month, Month> buttons to add a year or a month to the Review Date. When you adjust the date using these buttons, the chart data is automatically refreshed. See Selecting Review Dates .
Auto Calculate Costs
If you checked the Auto Calculate Costs check box on the Allocate Costs tab, the program will always recalculate costs prior to refreshing the data in the chart (for example, when you adjust the date using the <Year, Year>, <Month, Month> buttons). If Auto Calculate Costs is not selected, use the Calculate Cost button to calculate costs as needed. See Auto Calculating Costs.

You can navigate to any tab by selecting it. If you select the Department Analysis tab, that view uses the last Review Date you selected or adjusted using the <Year/Year> and <Month/Month> buttons. However, you can adjust the date on the Department Analysis tab.
Department Analysis also uses the Auto Calculate Costs selection you have made on the Allocate Costs tab.
