Including a Verification for Completed Service Requests
When a service request reaches the status Completed, it can generate a Verification Step that requires that someone check on the completion of the request.
To empower employees with sense of ownership of their request, you might wish to enable the client (the requestor) to verify that a job was executed to their satisfaction. See Verifying that a Request was Completed (Client) for more information.
In the Manage Service Level Agreements screen, the program includes an Add Verification button next to the Completed status.
Click on the Add Verification button. The system displays a pop-up window for specifying the Verification Step parameters:
- You may wish to specify a condition that the request must meet in order to generate a verification. For example, you might define that a supervisor verify all completed requests for a specific equipment item vital to the operation of the site.
- You must specify who will verify the completed work. You can choose one of the following:
- an employee
- a vendor
- a craftsperson
- a service desk role (such as a supervisor or a requestor)
