Set GDPR Retention Periods for Automatic Anonymization
Organizations are often required by law to maintain information on their employees or on their processes for a certain length of time. For each personal data category, you can configure the retention periods by setting application parameters with the System / Archibus Administrator - Application Configuration / Configure Application Parameters (ab-activity-params-edit.axvw) task. The parameters apply to historical tables as well.
The GDPRScheduledRemoval scheduled workflow rule runs every night automatically deletes personal information that has fallen out of the retention period.
The parameters enable organizations to keep transient information, such as visitor information, for shorter periods of time than more sensitive information, such as material hazard records or EH&S Incidents. The parameters are located under the
AbInformationSecurityAndPrivacy
application.
