Select Scenario Tab
Portfolio Forecasting is a planning tool. It is thus essential to be able to evaluate different plans or scenarios to better evaluate alternatives .From the Wizard's Select Scenario tab, you can select the scenario to work on, or you can add a new scenario.
Select a Scenario
You can view details for a scenario by clicking it in the list. The Portfolio Scenario Description provides a short description of what the scenario is evaluating.

Click Select in the row for the scenario. you want to work with.

Create a New Scenario
Use the Add button to create a new scenario.
Portfolio Forecasting is a planning tool. It is thus essential to be able to develop different plans or scenarios to better evaluate alternatives. By default, the Portfolio Forecast has one scenario, the Baseline scenario. You can develop data in this default scenario and you can also add new scenarios that represent alternative space allocations.
You can create a new scenario, and then add data to it using the Allocate Groups tab of the Portfolio Forecast Wizard.
You can copy groups created in CAD to the Baseline Portfolio Scenario. See Copying from Group Inventory to the Baseline Scenario.
To add a scenario
- From the Select Scenario tab, click Add.
- Type the name of the new scenario (required) in the Portfolio Scenario field, provide a description, and click Save. The Description can more fully describe the alternatives the scenario is based on.
- The Wizard moves you to the form for adding a building's data to the scenario. See Adding a Building and Importing its Data to the Scenario .
To delete a scenario
This action will delete the selected scenario and its associated group records.
- Select a scenario, and click Delete Scenario.
Next
Once you have selected a scenario, you can work with the Space Gap Analysis , or click any tab to go directly to it.
You can click Continue to go to the Floor tab to select a floor, or, to work with all floors, you can go directly to the Allocate Groups tab by selecting it.
