Team Space and Permanent Occupancy
You may have situations in which a member of a team requires permanent space. For example, an executive who is part of a 3-month project team might require an executive office, although the rest of the employees on the team will use team space for this 3-month project. In this case, the executive can have permanent space in addition to team space.
Suppose an entire department has been assigned to a team, but executives need permanent rooms. You could follow this procedure:
- In the Space Console's Employees tab, search to find the employees on this team who have the EXEC employee standard and should be assigned EXEC-OFFICE rooms.
- Use the Employees tab to assign these employees to permanent rooms.
- Rooms permanently assigned to employees must also be allocated to the employee’s division. If the room that you chose for the EXEC employee is not already assigned to the team, assign the room to the team's division using the Space Console's Rooms tab.
- To see all divisional allocations, whether directly assigned to rooms or indirectly through team associations, click the Highlights drop-down, and select Divisions with Teams.
