Space SaaS Module: Overview

If you are upgrading from Archibus Foundations , you typically have developed a space inventory with floor plans and have allocated space to departments, as well as associated employees with rooms. With the Space SaaS module, you can build on this inventory data, charge departments for space, and work with a move scenario planning tool for envisioning different layout scenarios for your enterprise moves.

The Space SaaS module includes the Space Book mobile app and the Space & Occupancy mobile app .

Typical Workflow

The general approach to working with the Space SaaS module is:

  1. Develop a space inventory of gross areas, vertical penetrations, service areas, and rooms.
  2. Associate personnel with rooms.
  3. With space and occupancy developed, you can manage employee moves as departments reorganize and you acquire or release space.
  4. Periodically, you can charge departments for their use of space and their proportional use of common space.
