Integrating with Other Archibus Applications
The Archibus Capital Budgeting application has been designed so that it can be easily integrated with other Archibus applications. The Capital Budgeting application uses the same Projects and Actions tables that are used by the Condition Assessment, Projects, and Moves applications. Therefore, no importing of data is necessary if you choose to use Capital Budgeting with any of these applications.
Condition Assessment Application
Prior to creating a capital budget, it is useful to use the Condition Assessment application to assess which assets may require capital improvements. When you request a project, you have the option to add actions from your Condition Assessments to a project or to add an assessment as a new project. Projects Application
After creating a capital budget, you can use the Projects application for project planning, procurement, execution, and reporting. For more information on the Projects application, see Projects Application (Overview) .
Moves Application
Projects from the Moves application use the same Projects table that is used in the Capital Budgeting application. Therefore, Move projects and actions can be integrated into capital budgets in the Capital Budgeting application. For more information on the Moves application, see Moves Application (Overview) .
