Finding Assets

The following commands help you find assets.

In the Archibus Smart Client, the following commands work for Revit similarly to the way they work for AutoCAD:

• Filter / To Drawing. Restricts the Smart Client grid to just those records that relate to the current model and level for the current view (for example, ‘dwgname LIKE “JACQUES|Level 1”’).
• Filter / In Drawing . Selects within Revit all entities that correspond to records currently selected in the Smart Client grid.

In the Extension for Revit, use the following command to restrict the Smart Client grid:

• Utilities / Restrict Grid . Restricts the current view in the Smart Client grid to just those records that correspond to elements selected in the current drawing. If the Smart Client view contains different types of elements from the Revit drawing (for example, rooms when equipment items are selected) the command has no effect.
