Provide Feedback about Archibus
As you use Archibus to manage your space and facilities, you might have ideas for new features and working methods. Additionally, you might wish to weigh in on proposed changes, and advocate for those that are high priority for you.
To provide your feedback on the current product and proposed changes submitted by other users, you use the Suggest a Feature command, located on the User menu. In order to use this command, you must register with the Eptura-Uservoice Forum.

-
Ideas are best written as a use case or as a user story. See the below examples.
- When through describing your suggestion and optionally adding a file, click Post Idea.
Once you submit an idea, the Eptura-Uservoice system notifies Archibus Product Management. Product Management will provide comments as the idea progresses. You will also receive email communication to keep you informed of additional comments and status changes for ideas that you submitted or voted on.
Examples of Entering Ideas
The following are examples of best practices for entering an idea. Entering your ideas in this format will help Archibus Product Management to effectively analyze your idea.
Use Case Example
In a use case, you outline the specific uses of the proposed feature. For example:
The proposal is to enhance the Space Console to support these specific and oft-required cases:
- Sharing rooms among multiple departments
- Assigning employees to primary and satellite workspaces
- Viewing both permanent and temporary (hoteled) occupancy together
- Sharing rooms among multiple uses (for Education use cases)
User Story Example
In a user story, you describe the feature from the user's perspective. Include the type of user, what they want, and why they need it.
As a buyer of workplace and asset management software, I want the system to have one way to publish floor plans from CAD or BIM. I want to deliver those floor plans to the web or mobile platform for use, so that I have one set of source files and a consistent process of converting and delivering drawings .
