Define Organizational Units

Space / Occupancy / Background Data

Overview

This lets you review your organizational units and then manage the structure.

  1. Choose the Define Organizational Units task.
  1. You can review the organization units hierarchy in the tree, click the Expand icon to open the levels.

Add an Organization Unit

  1. Select the organization unit where you want to add the new organizational unit.
  2. Click the Add New button and the form displays.

  1. In the right panel, complete the following information:
Field Description
Organization Code Enter the organization code.
Organization Name Enter the organization name.
Hierarchy Pattern - Acad Click the More Actions icon to display the Set Highlight Patten dialog.
Organization Description Enter a short description.
Conditional Index
Cost to Replace
Contact Code
Account Code
Comments
Source Feed Comments
  1. Click the Save button.

Edit Organization Unit

  1. Select the organization unit you want to edit and the form displays.
  2. Complete the edits to the fields.
  3. Click the Save button.

Move an Organization Unit

You can drag an drop an organization unit to a different position in the hierarchy. When you see the green tick then you can drop the organization unit into the new position.

Delete an Organization Unit

  1. Select the organization unit you want to delete and the message "Are you sure you want to delete (organization unit name)?
  2. Click the Yes button and it is deleted.
