Define Organizational Units
Space / Occupancy / Background Data
Overview
This lets you review your organizational units and then manage the structure.
- Choose the Define Organizational Units task.
- You can review the organization units hierarchy in the tree, click the Expand icon to open the levels.
Add an Organization Unit
- Select the organization unit where you want to add the new organizational unit.
- Click the Add New button and the form displays.

- In the right panel, complete the following information:

| Organization Code | Enter the organization code. |
| Organization Name | Enter the organization name. |
| Hierarchy Pattern - Acad | Click the More Actions icon to display the Set Highlight Patten dialog. |
| Organization Description | Enter a short description. |

| Contact Code | |
| Account Code | |
| Comments | |
| Source Feed Comments |
- Click the Save button.
Edit Organization Unit
- Select the organization unit you want to edit and the form displays.
- Complete the edits to the fields.
- Click the Save button.
Move an Organization Unit
You can drag an drop an organization unit to a different position in the hierarchy. When you see the green tick then you can drop the organization unit into the new position.

Delete an Organization Unit
- Select the organization unit you want to delete and the message "Are you sure you want to delete (organization unit name)?
- Click the Yes button and it is deleted.
