Working with the Forge Viewer and Linked Revit models stored in Autodesk Construction Cloud

 Use the Catalog BIM Models view to set the Properties and the SCE for Revit to Catalog assets from the main model only.

  1. Open ACC.
  2. Upload the linked models (set the main model as the “Host File”).

  1. Open Archibus Web Central.
  2. Navigate to System > CAD and BIM Manager > Catalog BIM Models.
  3. Open the Catalog BIM Models view.

  1. From the Autodesk Docs Projects, open the main model.

  1. Navigate to Archibus > Properties and the Model Properties dialog displays.
  2. Set the properties to assign a Building and Floor.

  1. Open your model in Revit.
  2. Open main model.
  3. Navigate to Archibus > Asset > Catalog and the Catalog dialog displays.
  4. Catalog the assets contained in the main model (i.e. rooms).

    1. Use the BIM Explorer to catalog the assets contained in the linked model (i.e. equipment).

    1. Click the Publish 3D button and the model is uploaded to Forge.

    1. Optional - Click the Publish 2D button and the model is published.

    1. Open Archibus Web Central.
    2. Navigate to BIM Viewer and the model can be used.
