Set up Move Request Types

Level: Administrator

The Move Request Types display when you click the "Create Move Item" button and these are created by your Administrator in the move configuration settings.

Add Move Request Types

  1. Navigate to Admin > Move > Configure.
  2. Click the Request Type tab and the Request Type tab displays.
  3. Click the Add clipboard_eacd5fbfafda97f1d8e36ea9c1e204536.png icon at the bottom left-hand corner of the list and the Add New dialog displays.

  1. In the Name field, enter the move request type name.
  2. Add appropriate fields.
  3. Click the OK button.
  4. Click the Save button.

A move task cannot be added until the move request type is saved.

Edit Move Request Types

  1. Navigate to Admin > Move > Configure.
  2. Click the Request Type tab and the Request Type tab displays.
  3. For the move request types you want to edit, click the Edit button.

  1. Make your updates.

  2. Click the OK button.

  3. Click the Save button.

Delete Move Request Types

  1. Navigate to Admin > Move > Configure.
  2. Click the Request Type tab and the Request Type tab displays.
  3. For the move request types you want to delete, click the Remove button. The move request types is deleted without a warning message.
  4. Click the Save button.
