Implementation Tasks
Below is a summary of the configuration, as this module has a few areas to be set up we recommend you read the Mail Administration article as we explained how the mail routes are used.
Mail Data
If you want the mail stop data loaded then this can be arranged using the User Data import.
Preferences
We recommend you review and set up the preferences for your organization:
- Allow Inbound Mail
- Allow Outbound Mail
- Allow Interoffice Mail
- Allow customers to input tracking numbers.
- Allow operators to skip tracking number entry for Interoffice packages
- Allow Speedy Check-In- allow mail center to use speedy check-in for interoffice mail items.
- Allow Barcode Labels - allow printing of barcode labels for interoffice mail.
- Allow Package Deletion - allow operators to delete mail items.
- Allow Misc. Volume Tracking - allow mail center to track miscellaneous volumes.
- Allow Alerts and set up the alert email notifications.
- Allow Alerts Reminders and set up the alert email notifications.
- Allow Routing Labels - allow printing of internal routing labels for mail items.
- Allow Box ONLY Delivery - allow a mail stop to be selected for all box deliveries.
- Allow Piece Count - allow to count mail packages when it is initially checked into the facility.
- Allow Pending Queue - alow undeliverable mail to go into pending queue.
- Using New Mobile Device - is this center using new mobile device?
- Allow mail delivery pickup - allow capture signature using signature pad.
- Close outbound packages automatically - when an operator checks in an outbound package, the package is archived immediately.
