New Features in Softspace for AutoCAD Plugin

An updated version of the Softspace plugin will soon be available for AutoCAD. In addition to providing support for AutoCAD 2019, this new version includes a new layer that allows you to visualize employee and room information from iOFFICE directly on the floorplan when making changes.

When iOFFICE room data is imported using the Open from iOFFICE button, a new layer named !iOFFICEIMPORT is created. This layer includes employee and room information such as first and last name, job title, room number, and room type.

This layer can be used by administrators when determining where to make changes to the existing floorplan, such as adding or repositioning workspaces. Once the floorplan is updated, simply turn this layer off and click the Send to iOffice button to return the floorplan to iOFFICE.
