Configure a group for 'all-day' personal spaces
Configure (or edit) the booking rules for a group that manages 'all-day'* personal space resources bookable in whole-day or half-day slots. Set the check-in window, advanced booking period, set the maximum number of slots a group is allowed to book (allowances), set check-in times, bump times, and warnings, etc. You can also apply different booking rules for users who do not have the group set as their default.
*All-day' describes either whole-day or half-day booking slots, depending on your organization's global configuration. Learn more: Global settings for personal spaces
If you haven't already created the group, create one now. Learn how: Create a group and set permissions
- Navigate to Application Setup > Groups.
- Click Specify a country and select the country which holds the group.
- Click Specify a Group and select a group to manage the personal spaces. The selected group must be one created to manage meeting space resources and daily personal space resources. Learn more: Create a group and set permissions
- Click Select a resource type and select Personal spaces.
- Choose an option from the Select an action menu:
- Edit Name/Deployment (group name, permissions, search options)
- Application Setup (booking rules)
- Email Templates
- Grid Display
