About key worker roles

Key worker roles allow you to identify and locate employees responsible for key activities in your workplace, such as Fire Marshals, First Aiders, and Mental Health First Aiders.

Quickly locate colleagues who perform a specific key worker role using Find your team in the Your team module.

Colleagues assigned with the selected role display a blue GPS icon on the floor plan. Hover over the icon to display they key worker's name, booked workspace, and the key worker role(s) they are assigned.

If you have a key worker role(s) assigned, the corresponding key worker icon(s) is displayed next to your name in your user profile.

Information for Administrators:

  • Administrators can assign key worker roles to users from User Administration
  • Administrators can run reports to assess the distribution of key worker roles. The new 'role' field will be available for the User and Personal Spaces reports. Expected September 2024
