Existing meeting room screens – migrating from Basic or NTLM to OAuth authentication

To ensure no interruption to service, prepare and authenticate existing meeting room screens for OAuth before enabling OAuth authentication for your calendar service! When OAuth authentication is enabled for your calendar service, any meeting room screen that does not already have OAuth enabled will stop working.

To migrate your existing screens and calendar service from Basic or NTLM authentication to OAuth authentication, follow this path:

  1. Prepare an existing meeting room screen for OAuth
  2. Authenticate a meeting room screen for OAuth

When all your screens are prepared and authenticated, enable OAuth for your calendar service:

  1. Enable OAuth for the calendar service

New Condeco installations with no existing meeting room screens

When OAuth authentication is enabled for your calendar service, OAuth is automatically enabled for each new meeting room screens, however, each meeting room screen must be activated and authenticated:

  1. Enable OAuth for the calendar service
  2. Authenticate a meeting room screen for OAuth
