Workweeks

Coming soon: Workweeks

Workweeks is expected in June 2025

Coming soon to Condeco is our new 'Workweeks' feature, which allows administrators to manage when groups of users are expected in the workplace and can book (or be automatically allocated) personal spaces. This is done by creating Workweek schedules and applying Workweek assignment groups (of users) to them.

For example, Workweek group A might be able to book a workspace on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; Workweek group B might be able to book from Friday to Monday; and Workweek groups C and D might be able to book on alternate weeks.

Good to know

Formally 'Team assignments': To avoid confusion with 'your team' and 'team days', we have renamed 'Team assignments' to 'Workweeks'. This change also better reflects the enhanced functionality of the feature. Workweeks provides admins with the flexibility to create multiple different schedules to manage when groups of users can book personal spaces in the workplace, whereas Team assignments only supports scheduling on odd and even weeks

Set users' status as in-office on selected days: When enabled, Workweek members are automatically set as in the office on the days their Workweek assignment group is scheduled to be in the workplace. If intelligent booking is enabled, a personal space can be automatically booked on those days. Learn more✨Intelligent booking

What is the difference between Team, Team assignments, and Workweeks?

  • Team: A team is a group of colleagues that you work with regularly. You can add whoever you want to your own team and create team days to encourage collaboration. This type of 'team' is not related to Team assignments (or the new Workweek assignments). Learn moreYour team
  • Team assignments: A team assignment is a group of users allowed to book spaces in the workplace on alternate weeks. Users are assigned to a team by an administrator, and only two teams can be managed. Workweeks is replacing Team assignments, but booking on alternate weeks can still be configured.
  • Workweeks: Workweeks replaces Team assignments and offers more flexibility for managing when groups of users can book personal spaces in the workplace. Multiple Workweek assignment groups and schedules are possible.

FAQ

  1. What happens to existing bookings when a user is assigned to a Workweek?
Any bookings for the user that do not comply with the Workweek schedule are canceled. For example, if a user is assigned to Assignment C (can only book spaces on Weds/Thurs/Fri) any bookings in the future that fall on any other day of the week, are canceled.
  2. How does a user see which Workweek they are assigned to?
The Workweek the user is assigned to is displayed on the In-office schedule tab in their user profile and the calendar is color-coded to show when and where the user can work. This replaces the Team Assignment setting in the user profile Learn more: User profile: View team assignment
