Set default status of the 'Add to Outlook calendar' check box for Admin users
The option to add a booking to your Microsoft Outlook calendar is checked by default when making a booking via the booking form or the booking grid. However, following feedback from our customers, we understand that administrators often make bookings on behalf of others and therefore do not always want bookings to appear as events on their own Outlook calendar.
We've released a new feature flag to enable the default status of the Add to your Outlook calendar check box to be unchecked for administrators only. Admins can select the option when they want an associated event created in their Outlook calendar. The option remains checked by default for users without an admin role.
Good to know
- The feature flag is enabled by default which means the 'Add to your Outlook calendar' button is not checked by default for users with an admin role. Contact the Condeco Support team to disable the option if you want the box checked by default for administrators.
- When the feature flag is enabled, the 'Add to your Outlook calendar' check box is unchecked for all admin levels, however, the option remains checked by default for users without an admin role.
- Admins can still choose to add an event to their Outlook calendar by selecting the check box.
- Only Condeco users who are subscribed to Outlook see the option to add to their Outlook calendar.
- This option applies to the Condeco web app only.

Subscription of user calendars
Condeco automatically subscribes to a user’s Microsoft Outlook calendar when they login to Condeco. Contact Condeco Support if you need to remove a user's account from the subscription so their bookings are never added to their Outlook calendar.
