Assign a Space to a Person

If a space allows occupants, then you can assign a person to it. Additionally, if needed, you can assign the space to multiple people; this is useful when people are job sharing and they need to use the same space.

1. Access the Spaces Floor Plan Viewer.
2. Click the space and the Edit form displays.
3. For the Space Function, click the 'Inherit value from Space Type' to toggle this to OFF. 

The message 'Override inherited Space Type space function? Overrides to space function will persist in the event changes to these attributes are made to the Space Type. Do you want to proceed?'

4. Click the Yes button.
5. From the Space Function drop-down, select Assignable.

6. From the Assign to drop-down, select the person's name. 
7. Click the Save button.
