Configure Permission Automation
Level: Administrator
Permissions are no longer limited to being assigned in mass by the AUP (Automated User Provisioning). We have created a nightly looper that will apply permissions to the users in the same manner.
If you have an existing AUP, then you must have it updated to remove the permission assignment prior to enabling this preference. Then your Administrator can configure the automation rules for permission assignment.
- Navigate to Admin > Permission automation.
- From the left panel, select the module.
- Choose a permission assignment mode, either:
- All users may access all Space module centers
- Users may access Space module centers for their building(s)
- Manual management only
- If you want to exclude specific centers, then click the +Add Center(s) button.
- From drop-down, select a center and click the Add button.
- Repeat to add more centers and if needed you can remove the centers, click the Clear all.
- Repeat the steps 2 to 4, to set the permissions for the modules.
- Click the Save button.
