About Eptura platform services and Eptura Home

Eptura platform services allow Eptura products to be accessed and managed from a central Eptura home page. Launch Eptura Home to access all your Eptura products and the tools that manage the common components to all Eptura products. Learn more: Eptura Home: Sign in to Eptura ↗️

The Eptura Home tools that centrally manage the common components for Eptura Workplace are:

• Directory: User and user group management.
• Portfolio Manager: Create and manage your locations, floors, and spaces.
• Space Types: Define space usage and function; each space is assigned to a Space Type.

About Eptura Workplace and Eptura platform services

When you open Eptura Workplace you will see the home screen displays the following modules:

• Directory - This contains the employee directory and the data is from the Eptura Home's Directory tool.
• Insights - This provides accurate and real-time reporting information about your facility and its usage.
• Mail - This lets you create full accountability for mail, from receipt to delivery to recipient.
• Move - This lets you coordinate employee moves, see below for details.
• Reservations - This lets your employees create reservations for spaces. Note that if your organization is using Eptura Engage, then this product is used for booking spaces.
• Service Request - This allows you to manage a wide range of facility service requests, such as repair notifications, equipment installations, and general maintenance activities.
• Space - This brings everyone together and includes details of your locations, floor plans, allocations, occupancy, and space types. See below for details.
• Admin - This is used Site Administrators to configure your Eptura instance/site and to modify the various setting for the product's modules. See below for details on the Portfolio Manager, Space Administrator, Floor Plans, Space Types, and Users.

When your organization is using Eptura's platform services, your locations and users are centrally managed from Eptura's tools.

• Locations are managed from Eptura Home's Portfolio Manager tool, and the Portfolio Manager location hierarchy maps to Eptura Workplace’s location hierarchy for Buildings, Floors, and Spaces.
• Space Types are managed from Eptura Home's Space Types tool.
• Users are managed from Eptura Home's Directory tool.

Eptura Workplace - Space Administrator

Eptura Workplace - Space Module

There is a relationship between Eptura platform services and the Eptura Workplace, where a connector is used to synchronize the space data.

Currently, you will need to upload your floor plans in the following:

• Upload using Softspace for AutoCAD Plug-in to see it in Eptura Workplace's Space module.
• Upload using Floor Plan Publishing ↗️ to see it in the Spaces Floor Plan Viewer. 

Eptura Workplace - Move Module

In the Move Module, you can only move people to seats or relocating them, as the onboarding and offboarding of employees are now handled by SCIM automatically.

When you select the location, now you can filter for Spaces or Neighborhoods.

Eptura Workplace - Move Ticket Automation

Admin > Move > Move Ticket Automation

Administrators can opt-in to automatic Move Ticket creation and routing when SCIM is used, and they can set up the batch behavior and routing rules.
