You also have the ability to search for your asset's serial number by scanning a barcode using your mobile device.

In order to perform a barcode scanning search, perform the following steps.

  1. From the Find Assets screen, select the Serial Number search for your asset. 

  2. After you select a serial number, the Serial Number search screen opens. 

  1. Tap the barcode icon . Your device's camera opens and allows you to take a picture of your asset's barcode to find your asset. 

If you need more light for your barcode image, select the illuminate icon . This will turn on a light on your mobile device.
