Defining Settings for the BrightSign computer module
To allow for consistent performance when using the BrightSign model XT1144 Expanded I/O Player* for Interactive Wayfinding, you must first define the player to allow local persistent storage. This setting allows the browser to retain its association with our Interactive Wayfinding solution.
*This BrightSign model is no longer available. For customers who already have this model, this article will explain the settings to integrate with iOFFICE.
To define this setting, access the BrightAuthor app (included with your BrightSign purchase). Then access the Storage tab on the Edit preferences window, which is accessed by selecting Edit → Preferences in the BrightAuthor app. On the Storage tab, configure the storage settings as seen below, making sure the majority of space is given to HTML Local Storage.
When you are finished, click the OK button. The browser on the BrightSign player should maintain a consistent association with the Interactive Wayfinding solution. If you have any questions, contact support at support@iofficecorp.com.
