Certifications

Use Certifications to configure, track, and manage your employee certifications. This gives you the following benefits:

  • Centralization - Brings all employee certification data into Eptura Asset, eliminating fragmented tracking across spreadsheets or external tools.
  • Compliance Assurance - Helps organizations maintain regulatory and internal compliance by providing clear visibility into certification status and expiration dates.
  • Operational Efficiency - Streamlines workflows for creating, assigning, and updating certifications, reducing manual effort and administrative overhead.
  • Customization - Offers flexibility through custom fields, allowing organizations to tailor certification tracking to their unique requirements.

Learn more in the following:

General Maintenance

  • Conditional Mandatory Fields for Work Order Import – Certain fields are now required only under specific conditions, reducing import failures and improving data quality.
  • Cycle Count Import - Updated cycle count import handling so parts with IDs longer than 36 characters can now be imported successfully into cycle counts, removing a previous limitation on long part identifiers.
  • Request Portal - Corrected Request Portal behavior so changing the Location (asset group) filter now updates results correctly when expanding or collapsing groups in both open and secured portals.
  • Fixed Notify Activity Template - Corrected behavior so unchecking Insert/Update/Delete checkboxes correctly updates and reflects the configuration in the UI, preventing mismatches between settings and what’s displayed.
  • Operator Companion - Adjusted the asset search so results are now based on Asset ID instead of Asset Key, aligning search behavior with how customers expect to find assets.
  • Permissions
    • Eptura Asset configuration permissions so users without “Configure” rights can no longer create new asset Categories or Sub‑categories (types), ensuring category management is restricted to admins.
    • Corrected inventory security so creating an Adjustment no longer incorrectly requires full Inventory Create rights, aligning adjustment permissions with expected access controls.
