Set up the Customer Contacts

Level: Administrator

This area is used to set up the Customer Contact form when you create a new customer. In the Customer Contacts settings, give you the ability to define:

  • Customer Status
  • Custom Fields

Access Customer Settings

  • Navigate to Settings > Module Settings > Contact > Customer.  The customer tab displays under contact settings.

The Customer tab in contact settings is where customer statuses are defined. Use customer status to differentiate customers for better organization.

Customer Status

Customer Status is used to differentiate customers through the Customers Management screen.


Custom Fields

Custom Fields are available for any information needed that is not within the default fields. Custom information displays as an option with creating or editing a Vendor.

Navigate to Customers and then click the New Customer button and then in the New Customer form you will see the fields. In this example, the customer status drop-down displays options created from The Customer tab in contact settings. Learn more in Customers.


The Vendor Types created from the customer tab are available to select as an option.
