Set a Part Type as a Tire for Tire Tracking

To track tires effectively, they must be defined in the inventory settings. This allows new and existing part types to be recognized as tires when being added to a work order.

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Under the Module Settings, click Inventory and the Inventory Settings screen displays.
  3. In the General tab, select a Part Type.
  4. Change the Is a Tire toggle to ON.

Now, when you navigate to the Work Order module and open a work order for installing a tire, you will see the Tire Manager icon. Learn more in Manage Tires from a Work Order.
