- From the Schedule by, select either:
| Schedule By | Description |

|
| Day of Month |
|
| Days |

|
| Months |
|
| Years |
|
- When you are ready to save, click the Add button.
Persistent
For persistent schedules this means the PM will have a set number of PMs.
We recommend that you never to set persistent on anything less than MONTHLY cycle. So if you have persistent on a 1 month cycle, you will have a PM for every month.
So you can get behind or ahead, for example:
- Create for January and complete.
- Next due is February.
- Create in March and complete, it will still be 100% due because the one done in March counts towards February.
- Create another for March and complete, you are caught up.
- Create another for March and complete, now you are ahead.
The systems WILL NEVER auto generate a PM if an open work order ALREADY exists. They can be MANUALLY generated, users will generally be warning that an open Work Order already exists.
Edit a Schedule Rule
- Click the rule and the rule opens in edit mode.
Remove a Schedule Rule
- Hover over the rule.

- Click the Remove icon and the message displays "Are you sure you want to continue? Warning: This PM is associated to 1 asset. Deleting this cycle will change the due dates for this PM for ALL assets associated to it."
- Click the Yes, Continue button.
