Update existing Customer Record
The customer details, timeline, custom fields, etc can be viewed and edited.
- Navigate to Customers and the Customers Management screen displays.
- From the list, click a customer to display the Customer Details form.
You can update the following:
- Password reset - If the customer as the "Can Login To M+ Work Requests" check, then you will be able to reset their password if they forget the password.
- General details - This contains Customer ID, Customer Name, Preferred Name, Barcode/Tag, Status,Can Login To M+ Work Requests, Contact Information, and Custom Fields.
- Notes - This contains public notes.
- Timeline - This displays the customer's work orders and invoices.
- Sites - This is where you can add contact sites and a default price point.
- Attachments or a URL Link - This is where you can add attachments and links.
Your Administrator can set up the Customer Status and any Custom Fields your organization needs. Learn more in Set up the Customer Contacts.
