Tasks Tab

When you are working on the work order, you will see the tabs:

Add a Task


The Tasks tab contains the list of tasks to be completed.

  1. If you need to add a task, tap the Add Task button and then search for a task.
  2. When you find the task you want, tap on the task and then it is added to the list.

Working on a Task


Tap the Task to dislay the task and the menu, where you can add the following:

Parts


Add a part to the task

  1. When you want to use a part in the task, tap the Parts icon.
  2. Tap the Add a Part button.

  1. Search for the part you want.
  2. If needed, you can change the warehouse and then search for the part.

  1. Tap the part name and the details screen displays.
  2. Enter the quantity and cost of the part.
  3. If needed, you can enter notes or budget.
  4. Tap the Add now button and the part is added to the work order.

Remove a part from the task

  1. When you want to remove part from the task, tap the Parts icon.
  2. From the list, tap the part name.
  3. Tap the Remove button and the message "Are you sure?" displays.
  4. Tap the Yes, remove button and the part is removed from the work order.

     Labor


    Add Labor Hours

    1. When you start working on the task, tap the Labor clipboard_e393f3d4418ffcc8133a245b31f668409.png icon and then you can start the timer.
    2. If later you need to adjust the labor time, then tap the Add Labor Hours button.

    1. Select the hours and minutes and then tap Done.
    2. Select the date and time end and then tap Done.

    1. Tap the Save button.

      Comment

      As you work on the tasks, it is easy to add internal or public notes into the work order.

      1. Tap the Comments clipboard_edc65295130206fcaa2e2c938bdc97126.png icon.
      2. Tap the + icon and enter your notes.
      3. The Public and Internal button show what type of note you are adding.
      4. When you have finished, tap the Done button.

      Costs


      Add Costs

      1. Tap the Costs clipboard_ef4f32543de11ae6e93196d971549b092.png icon.
      2. Tap Add new cost.

      1. From the Type drop-down, select the cost type.
      2. In the Amount field, enter the amount of the cost.
      3. From the Budget drop-down, select the budget.
      4. In the Cost notes field, enter a short note.
      5. Click the Add now button and the cost is added to the task.

      Photos & Attachments


      Add Photos or Attachments

      1. If you need to provide photos of the work, then tap the Photos clipboard_e323f0228c5fd00dc249b092152174cbb.png icon.

      1. Tap the + Add button and then tap either New photo or existing photo.

      Add a New Photo 

      1. Tap the New photo to activate the camera.
      2. Take the photo.
      3. Tap the Add photo button.

      Add an Existing Photo

      1. Tap the Existing photo.

      Add a Link to a URL

      1. If you want to add URL link, then tap URL.
      2. In the URL field, enter the link.
      3. In the Note field, enter a short note, if needed.
      4. Tap the Open attachement button.
      5. Tap the Add URL button.
