Understand the Cycle Counts Key Performance Indicators

This provides the a quick overview of the inventory accuracy and current progress of inventory counts.

  1. From the menu, navigate Inventory > Cycle Counts.

Going across the top of the screen, the following statistics are:

  • Inventory Counted - Percentage counted in the last 12 months.
  • Cycle Count Status - Number of cycle counts for each status. You can see how many are not started or started. How many are fully counted and how many require recounts. 
  • Inventory Accuracy - This graph plots the percentage accuracy of all counts for the last 12 months.
  • Quantity Variance - Calculates the sum of all discrepancies found in part counts. The negative number is the number of parts missing from the count. The positive number shows the extra parts counted.
  • Cost Variance - The dollar representation of the quantity variance and the discrepancies are not necessarily from the same parts; the dollar adjustments are different.

You can reset the view, click the More Actions clipboard_e33980655790844b5ebc55df7a0920154.png icon, and then Reset Grid.
