Understanding the Different License Types

Overview

There are several different license types in ManagerPlus.  User licenses are how ManagerPlus is sold and scales with organizations.  Licenses grant access to ManagerPlus and can control the access level each user has.  Below is an explanation of the different license types.

User Licenses
Paid License Name Access Level   

Named User

Depending on security clearance, this user can have partial to complete access to all features of the ManagerPlus suite

 

 

  • Desktop Lightning
  • Mobile App (Work Companion)
  • Operator Companion (Inspection App)
  • Submit & Manage Requests
  • Assign WO's to vendors via Vendor Portal

Mobile User

Mobile techs manage asset data, update meter readings, and create, update & close work orders while on-the-go

 

 

  • Mobile App (Work Companion)
  • Operator Companion (Inspection App)
  • Submit & Manage Requests

Operator

Complete inspections, request services & report vital information on your assets in real-time

Able to submit work requests via:

  • Scan QR codes

  • Assign Work Orders directly to Vendors, and allow them to directly update their assigned Work Order via an easy, fast, mobile interface.

Use this Feature To

The different user types are designed to help guide different users in the roles.  Talk to your customer success manager to determine if you are configured correctly in your different user types.

You can also check out this article on creating new users.  

Work Orders can only be assigned to the "Full User" and "Mobile User" license types.

When creating new users you select which user type you want to create.  Below you will see a screenshot of first step of new user creation:
