Enter Meter Readings or Fluid Logs in an Asset

Enter the Meters Readings or Logs

1. Navigate to the Asset module. The Asset Management screen displays.
2. From the asset list, click an existing asset.
3. From the toolbar, click the View Meter/Logs icon and the Enter Meters / Logs form displays.

Meter Readings

1. In the Distance field, enter the distance.
2. In the Hours field, enter the hours.
3. If needed, click the Post Date calendar picker and select the date and time.
4. Click the Submit Changes button.

Fluid Logs

The fluid number can be entered by cost or by inventory.

1. The default is cost, so in the Fluid field, enter the amount. If needed, you can click the Change Budget link to select a different budget.
2. In the Price field, enter the price of the fluid.
3. OR if you want to enter by inventory, then click Use Inventory.
4. From the Inventory drop-down list, select the fluid. If needed, you can click the Shop Warehouse link, if you need to select a different warehouse.
5. In the Fluid field, enter the amount.
6. If needed, click the Post Date calendar picker and select the date and time.
7. Click the Submit Changes button.

Reset the Meter for Distance or Hours

You can reset the meter when this has been set up by your Administrator. Learn more in Add a Meter and Fluid Log to a Category.

1. From the asset list, click an existing asset.
2. From the toolbar, click the View Meter/Logs  icon and the Enter Meters / Logs form displays.
3. Click the History button.
4. Click the More Actions  icon and then Reset Meter. The Maintenance dialog displays.

5. In the Old meter last reading field, enter the number.
6. In the New meter current reading field, enter the number.
7. Click the Reset Meter button.

The meter reading is reset.

View Distance History

To view the history, click the History button. The History view lets you see a utilization graph and it lets you adjust the entries.

View Hours History

To view the history, click the History button. The History view lets you see a utilization graph and it lets you adjust the entries.

View Fluid Logs History

To view the history, click the History button. The History view lets you see a utilization graph for the hour/inventory and it lets you adjust the entries.
