Operator Companion Web App Overview

The Operator Companion allows the operators, drivers, and users of your equipment to perform Inspections, using the Operator Companion web app. The web app is available to be used by all licensed Operators.

Let's have a look at the web app and become familiar with the screens:

  • Home
  • Assets
  • Scan
  • Inspections
  • Log out

The home screen contains a list of the following:

  • Recently used assets
  • Recently completed inspections.

From the menu, tap Assets and the list of assets that relate to the inspections display.

From the menu, tap Scan and the scanner is active and ready to scan an asset's bar code. This will display the asset and any available inspections.

From the menu, tap Inspections and list displays the inspections that are in progress and in the other tab the completed inspections display.

Inspections can be created in the Eptura Asset web application. Learn more in the Inspection OverviewThen the Operators of the equipment can then perform them through the Operator Companion web app. You will see the inspection has the same look and feel in both web apps.

Required tasks will be highlighted with a special indicator.

Create an Inspection

Operators of the equipment don't have to wait for Maintenance Managers to create an inspection. With the Operator Companion, Operators can search for the desired Asset and start the inspection...
