Invoices Overview
The Invoice module allows you to easily create digital invoices and estimates for your customers.
- Invoices - You can create invoices manually or have them auto-generate when a work order is completed.
- Estimates - These are separate and are used to quote parts and services before the work is started.
You can use price points to apply custom markups that can be tailored to certain customers, services, or parts.

Invoice Workflow Example 1
An example of an invoice workflow could look like this.
- Services Quoted - An estimate is created to quote services for your customer. Here you can add markups and billable labor if needed.
- Work Started - The customer accepts the estimate and a work order is created to start work. The work order includes all the services quoted in the estimate.
- Work Completed - As the work is completed, there may be some services added or changed.
- Invoice Sent - After the work is completed, the invoice is automatically generated to reflect the actual work done and bill the customer.
Remember, the estimate, work order, and invoice are all linked in Eptura Asset.
Invoice Workflow Example 2
If a work order is not required, you can still create estimates and invoices directly from the Invoice Module without creating a work order. This is useful if you are only selling parts or goods to your customers.
The workflow is set up by your Administrator in the Invoice Settings.
