Turn on the Approval Threshold for Employee Imports

When importing employee details into SpaceIQ either manually or via SFTP, you may want your Admin to turn on the Approval Threshold for Employee Imports setting, as this will trigger an approval process when the set threshold is exceeded.

This is used to support data integrity during employee imports. Setting a manual approval ensures an automated import process does not accidentally make large unwanted changes, such as unseating/deleting multiple employee records.

From the SpaceIQ application, complete the following steps:

  1. In the top-right corner, click on your Profile Name, and then click on Settings.

  2. From the left menu, click Company Settings.

  1. Toggle the Approval threshold for employee imports setting to ON.
  2. Set the approval threshold percentage, and the setting is saved automatically.

The threshold is used by SpaceIQ to determine the percentage of changes an import allows. If the percentage of changes exceeds the threshold, then the import is placed in a pending state, and an email notification is sent to all Admins. Also, a notification displays on the SpaceIQ Dashboard.
