Who can Book a Desk for Someone Else
SpaceIQ allows specific user roles to book a desk for someone else. This article details those users and their abilities.
Admins, Power Admins, Booking Managers, Location Admins, Department Admins, and Space Captains
- Admins with full admin permissions can book for someone else without restriction.
- Power Admin with full admin permissions can book for someone else without restriction.
- Booking Managers can book for someone else without restriction (for employees and/or departments they manage.)
- Location Admins can book for someone else in the locations they manage.
- Department Admins can book for someone else in the departments they manage.
- Space Captains can book for someone else in the location and department they manage.
Employees cannot book a desk for someone else.
Let's look at this with an example...
In this example, we have our Employee Pete, who is located in the San Francisco office.
Pete is a part of the Engineering Department and part of the Project X Workplace Group.
And then there is Anna, who is located in London and can also be a Remote employee.
She is also a part of the Engineering Department and the Project X Workplace Group.
Pete and Anna will be a part of the following table which details how roles, location, and department can affect who can book a desk.
