Change a Neighborhood to Hoteling Desks

When you have an existing Neighborhood with seats and employees (associated with the neighborhood) on the floor map and you change the seat's usage type to Hoteling Desk then the Neighborhood is removed from the floor map.

Then you will need to set up the Hoteling Desks allocation for Departments and/or Workplace Group, see:

• Allocate a Department to Hoteling Desks
• Allocate a Workplace Group to Hoteling Desks

In this example, the Sales Neighborhood is on the floor map.

When the usage type is changed to Hoteling Desk then:

• the Department allocation remains on the floor map.
• the Neighborhood is removed from the floor map (and the employees remain associated with the neighborhood).
